Physical Description
Basically, Luke’s a pretty boy jock, and does not try to be anything else. Blue-eyed, with an athletically muscled body, as well as blonde curls, he’s got that all American football player image down. He keeps his body religiously in shape, out of narcissism rather than out of any necessity. After all, you can’t have his pretty face and then a disappointing set of abs, now can you? He doesn’t think.
He dresses well, nothing but the best for this boy, if it doesn’t have a ‘label’ he would not even use it for a dust cloth. That is, if he actually cleaned his own apartment, which he doesn’t. Easily, he could serve as a model for Calvin Klein, and has even been approached to do so once, and is quite the fashion plate.
In his Were form, Luke is nothing to be dismissed lightly, as his other half is that of a King Cobra. Due to the fact that he could conceivably keep growing, he's only 17, after all, as a snake, he's only at a length of 12 feet long. A size that is merely average for a species that is the world's longest poisonous snake. In snake form, his back and sides are such a dark green that they're nearly black, while his belly is a yellow-ish cream broken up by the same dark green in stripes.
The flared hood of his head marks him immediately as a cobra, but it's the half inch long fangs you have to worry about. [top]

Personality
He’s the quintessential Leo. Well, when you mix in his demonic blooded heritage. Arrogant, occasionally cruel, strong willed and ambitious, he was the perfect guy to be ruling over the underclassmen and the less popular students. And, let’s face it, aren’t most people less popular than him?
Luke knows what he wants, in any situation, and nearly always gets it. If he doesn’t get what he wants, he’s prone to take it out on some innocent bystander. Not because they had anything to do with anything, but they’re a ready target, so why not?
Like the snake he shifts into, he’s jealous, boastful, narcissistic and a nasty temper. To somewhat balance it out, he is rather disciplined and charming enough to cover most of his nasty facets, not to mention quite intelligent.
He loves luxury, loves sex, with a very healthy sexual appetite, and loves a mixture of domination of underlings and others of his level.

Strengths
- Vibration Sensing - The flip side to being deaf while in the shape of his other form, Luke can detect even the slightest vibrations to know when something or someone is sneaking up on him by land. This also means he loves heavy bass lines.
- Excellent sense of smell/taste - Ultra sensitive to taste and smell, he can pick up scents on the air from far away. However, this isn’t quite as useful as you would think, given that there are so many smells from every direction at once, it takes a lot of focus to zone in on one smell. For the most part however, all scents fade to the background as white noise.
- Infrared Vision - Even in human form he has access to infrared vision, the ability to see heat. It works at night or day, although during the day it’s far less helpful since most everything’s warm on summer days.
- Charm - Poetic? Yes. Highly charming when he wishes, he’s silkily able to figure out how to manipulate and entrench himself into the lives and loves of others.
Weaknesses
- Cold - Harboring an absolute hatred of cold, Luke always puts on layer after layer when the weather heads that direction. It makes him lethargic if he’s left cold for too long, and he’ll take to just sleeping more and more during winter. Why the hell didn’t his mother send him to Southern California?
- Deaf in Were Form - Snakes are nearly deaf by nature, instead relying on their ability to sense vibrations. The two even out, moderately. When picked up, he is highly disoriented, and in fact hates to fly because of it.
- Selfishness - Luke is not one to spread any love or money around. Neither is he prone to sharing anything of anything.
- Anger -Prone to striking out when he’s angry, Luke can often pile up the collateral damage when he is upset.

History
Before the Light of May
Luke Marcus Bradley III was born August 1st, 1991, to Luke Marcus Bradley II and Karen ‘Kitty’ Bradley in Chicago, Illinois. Indulged and pandered to from an early age, Luke was the little Prince to his family, and eventually ruled the private schools he attended from preschool to high school.
There was, one small, itsy bitsy hiccup in his perfect educational record. That would be ::cough:: that one time that he got a cheerleader pregnant in his junior year. The event was hushed up and ’taken care of.’ As in the girl was packed off to another school, her family paid off, and it was decided that Luke would get away from the possible scandal of it.
Thanks to a little (a lot of) insider trading, Luke Bradley the Second got out of investments before the market slump/crash, still making a tidy sum out of the deal, so the Bradley family did not have to worry about money in the deal. Unfortunately, his father indulged his mother in allowing her to choose where they would send their son for some early independence, and Luke Marcus Bradley was shipped off with access to his trust fund to Scarlet Oak for his last year of high school.
Angry that a mistake made by someone else (it was not his fault, after all) sent him to this tiny little town, Luke glossed over it by making life hellish for quite a few highschoolers along with the school bully Stephen Finklestein. Stephen wasn’t exactly the same class he was, not in Luke’s mind, but he would do.
Given his pretty, pretty face, and attraction to athletics as a way to show off and prove to everybody else what he already knows. Namely that he’s fantastic. Double timing baseball and football, as well as more than a few cheerleaders, he played the golden boy jock role to its full extent. Complete with smirks and picking on the geeky and less popular kids for the hell of it.
Recently graduated, he’s got a summer of indulgence before…well, college, but more indulgence.

Luke's Were FormWere - King Cobra:
The King Cobra (Ophiophagus hannah) is the world's longest venomous snake, with a length that can be as large as 6.7 m (22 ft). This species is widespread throughout Southeast Asia and parts of India, but found mostly in forested areas. Its genus name, Ophiophagus, literally means "snake-eater", and its diet primarily consists of other snakes, including sizeable pythons and even smaller members of its own species. The venom of the King Cobra is primarily neurotoxic, and the snake is fully capable of killing a human with a single bite. The mortality rate from a bite can be as high as 75%.
The King Cobra is a large and powerful snake, averaging 3.6–4 m (12–13 feet) in length and typically weighing about 6 kg (13.2 lb). A particularly large specimen was kept captive at the London Zoo and grew to 5.7 m (18.8 ft) before being euthanized upon the outbreak of World War II. The skin is either olive-green, tan, or black and it has faint, pale yellow cross bands down the length of the body. The belly is cream or pale yellow, and the scales are smooth. The head of a mature snake can be quite massive and bulky in appearance, though like all snakes, they can expand their jaws to swallow large prey items. It has proteroglyph dentition, meaning it has two short, fixed fangs in the front of the mouth which channel venom into the prey like hypodermic needles. The male is larger and thicker than the female. The average lifespan of a King Cobra is about 20 years.
The King Cobra's venom, which is composed mostly of proteins and polypeptides, is produced in specialized salivary glands (as is the case with all venomous reptiles) just behind the animal's eyes. When biting its prey, venom is forced through the snake's half-inch (1.25 cm) fangs and into the wound. Although its venom is not the most toxic one, a King Cobra's size enables it to inject larger quantities of venom than most other species. On a single bite, it injects as much as 6 to 7 ml of venom. The large amount of venom in a single bite allows the King Cobra to kill faster and to kill larger animals than other serpents. The King Cobra can kill up to five times faster than the black mamba, so it just takes a few minutes to kill a human, and it can even kill an Asian Elephant within three hours if the larger animal is bitten in a vulnerable area such as the trunk.
The King Cobra's venom is primarily neurotoxic and thus attacks the victim's central nervous system and quickly induces severe pain, blurred vision, vertigo, drowsiness, and paralysis. In one to two minutes, cardiovascular collapse occurs, and the victim falls into a coma. Death soon follows due to respiratory failure. There are two types of antivenin made specifically to treat King Cobra envenomations. The Red Cross in Thailand manufactures one, and the Central Research Institute in India manufactures the other; however, both are made in small quantities and are not widely available. Ohanin, a protein component of the venom, causes hypolocomotion and hyperalgesia in mammals. Other components have cardiotoxic, cytotoxic and neurotoxic effects.
Despite the King Cobra's fearsome reputation and deadly bite, it is a shy and reclusive animal, avoiding confrontation with humans as often as possible. There are other venomous snakes within this species' range, in fact, that are responsible for more fatal snake bites than the King Cobra, such as the Monocled Cobra, or Russell's Viper.

Charles Spencer Beller - Son - Luke's illegitimate son by a cheerleader named Hannah Beller, back in Chicago, Illinois. The baby, only a few months old, has already revealed itself to be a Weresnake of its own, a baby black mamba. Luke has no knowledge of the pregnancy after his family paid off hers, and he was sent off into exile in Scarlet Oak, or the child that resulted from the pregnancy. As far as Luke knows, Hannah did the 'smart' thing and terminated it.

A plush 'little' apartment in the main building at Cherryblossom Place, Luke's place is expensively furnished and pristine enough that you just know he has a maid coming daily to pick up after him. The walls are decorated with various pieces of art that his mother liked the price of (i.e. expensive) and then shipped off to him so that she could at least say it was hanging in one of there oft-used residences. The temperature is always hot inside, kept that way with premium heating, and there's even a small steam room built into the back. It was a special request by his father, when the apartment was purchased, and Luke often locks himself in there for an hour or more at a time. The walls and windows are soundproofed in such a way to exclude outside vibrations, as a weresnake is particularly sensitive to such thing, but the polished hardwood floors keep the vibrations easiliy felt within the apartment itself.
